Namaste! Today I discovered that Swami Sivananda has the nickname the "flying guru". Sivananda yoga is my favourite yoga form, which is one of the reasons why I'm going to a Sivananda yoga centre. I must have made the right decision for it turns out that the brilliant Swami was fond of piloting light aircraft and flying over war torn countries, dropping flowers and leaflets calling for peace!!! I can't think of a more wonderful but also slightly bonkers and maybe pointless, pragmatically speaking, exercise. I think I would have liked him an awful lot!!
